Borja Alonso
Graduated in Law from the University of Deusto after a year at the University of Kent in Canterbury, UK, thanks to an Erasmus scholarship. After a period as an editor in the written media, he began his career in the maritime sector at the Bilbao agency of the Hamburg Süd shipping company, and then went on to manage, at different times, the Human Resources and Legal departments of the fishing company Albacora, S.A. Appointed head of sustainability and communication for this company, he is a regular participant in the international forums that regulate tropical tuna fishing. Member of the Board and Executive Committee of ISSA, one of the governing bodies of the International Seafood Sustainability Foundation (ISSF), he is also a visiting professor at the University of Deusto.
